Do you think there are not people in the world who are working hard everyday to remove the Bible from your possession? Do you think that there are not organizations that are committed to making sure you never read the Bible? If you think such people do not exist, then you are dead wrong. Consider the August 17, 2008 article by the Associated Press titled, “China Confiscates Bibles From American Christians.” Here is a link to that AP article: news.yahoo.com Many men, like William Tyndale, were hunted, captured, and murdered for trying to give the common man the Bible in his own language. The Roman Catholic Church-state wouldn’t think twice about outlawing the Bible again. Catholicism still forbids the common man to interpret the Bible for himself. This is tyranny at the deepest level. Growing atheism, as promoted by Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, is now advocating that people who believe in religion, especially Biblical Christianity, are suffering from a mental disorder, are evil, and are abusing their children by teaching them the Bible. Men like Dawkins and Hitchens are tyrants, and what they claim amounts to a recipe for genocide. That’s right, if men like Dawkins and Hitchens were to have their way, then Christians would be arrested, jailed, and terminated. One may also compare the American Revolution to the French Revolution in order to see the purity of Calvinistic thought over both atheistic and Catholic thought.
